Aprile joins the Liguria Region delegation at one of China’s leading supply chain events.

Representatives from Aprile Shenzhen and Aprile Tianjin took part in the fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing as members of the Liguria Region delegation, coordinated by Spediporto. More than an international exhibition, CISCE serves as a platform where governments, institutions and businesses come together to discuss, shape and strengthen the future of global supply chains.
A key objective of the mission was to strengthen economic and commercial ties between the Liguria Region and China’s Hainan Province. During the event, officials from both regions signed a Letter of Intent, marking an important step towards closer cooperation and future economic collaboration.
Throughout the week, the delegation took part in conferences, presentations and institutional meetings with representatives from the Liguria Region, the Port Authorities of Genoa, La Spezia and Vado Ligure, the Genoa Chamber of Commerce, CCPIT and the Embassy of Italy in China
Reflecting on the experience, Camilla Pietrobon said: “It was an honour to witness such an important moment in the relationship between Italy and China, with the signing of a Letter of Intent between the Liguria Region and Hainan Province, marking a shared commitment to future collaboration. From the level of Chinese leadership present at the opening ceremony to the number of international exhibitors, it was clear how much importance China places on the future of international supply chains and global cooperation.”
Beyond the institutional programme, CISCE also offered valuable insight into the direction of the Chinese market. Innovation featured prominently throughout the exhibition. From artificial intelligence and robotics to agricultural technologies, exhibitors demonstrated how emerging technologies are transforming the future of global supply chains.
During the gala dinner, the Italian Ambassador to China encouraged Italian businesses to broaden their horizons and explore the opportunities offered by a dynamic market that continues to evolve and grow.
For Aprile, CISCE represented more than an opportunity to attend an international exhibition. It provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen institutional relationships, exchange knowledge with industry leaders and gain valuable insight into one of the world’s fastest-evolving logistics markets.
As global supply chains continue to evolve, events such as CISCE play an increasingly important role in fostering dialogue, encouraging collaboration and shaping the future of international trade.
