As we proudly celebrate Aprile’s 50th anniversary, there’s a significant part of our journey that deserves highlighting: the invaluable contributions of our female workforce. On this International Women’s Day, we seize the opportunity to celebrate and honor the extraordinary women who have contributed to Aprile’s success over the past five decades.
“Diversity” and “inclusivity” aren’t just buzzwords at Aprile; they’re fundamental principles ingrained in our culture. Our global family consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds working together towards a common goal. Among our ranks, women stand proudly, comprising 55% of our global workforce. Their presence isn’t just significant; it’s indispensable.
In Italy, Aprile’s country of origin, 87 women out of a total of 163 employees contribute crucially to our team’s efforts. But that’s not all. In fact, the female workforce exceeds the male one in many of our global teams. In Brazil, China, Mexico, Peru, and the USA, teams are over 50% female, with the UK team just one small step behind, demonstrating the fundamental role of every woman in Aprile’s global operations. Through our international offices, women continue to contribute, with their experience, dedication, and innovation, to Aprile’s success and history.
However, as we celebrate the progress made, we’re aware of the work still to be done and how important our efforts are to break down barriers and promote gender equality at all levels of our organization. International Women’s Day serves as a reminder of the importance of empowering and defending women’s rights worldwide. It’s a day to reflect on the progress made but also to reaffirm our commitment to creating an environment where every individual, regardless of gender identity, has equal opportunities for growth and success.
So, let’s celebrate Aprile’s women on this special occasion, reaffirming our dedication to creating a workplace where diversity and inclusion aren’t just welcomed but promoted.
